Young swimmers train at three levels depending on age and ability, progressing from Development to Junior Squad and then Seniors. New starters complete a short assessment to determine where they will swim. There are no set requirements to swim at each level and placement is based on the coaches assessment and spaces in each group. We do our best to allow friends to stay together and swimmers my switch lanes within a session depending on how busy or quiet their lane is.
Adult swimmers join us in the Masters sessions. The coach will usually split lanes by ability and session planning is based around the individual swimmers goals.
As swimmers progress we encourage them to coach as part of their personal development.
